Many of the "love Songs" today make reference to the Body and are mainly sexual in nature. Back in the day the Love Songs told a story. They talked about a lady, how sweet she was, and why she was loved. They talked about a man, how strong he was, and how she could depend on him.

What has changed? Do we mainly define a great love song in today's song as one that makes our body temperature rise? Is a Great Love Song one that is all about Love Making?

I think a Great Love Song is determined by how the song makes us feel inside. Does it make us reminisce on the good times spent with that special one? Does it make our heart go a couple beats faster? Does it make you feel good? Does it bring back memories? Does it help you to remember why you fell in love with the person you are with in the first place?

The Best Love Songs are a combination of the Sensual & the Actual. What it feels like & what it truly is. They are songs that connect how love feels and what love actually is. Some of my favorite love songs are from the 50's, 60's, and 70's but there are also some from today's era as well. Songs from long ago reminded you of the person you are with and "why" they make you feel the way you do.

What type of love song a person likes depends on how they view love. Do they relate love only to sexual attraction? Do they want for love to have a much deeper meaning for them?
